Konanooru & Ramanathapura

Konanooru  & Ramanathapura are on the borders of the two districts - Mysooru & Hasana.There is a long Hanging bridge at Konanooru, which is worth seeing. Some 2 kms away from that bridge, is an old Dam called 'Krshnaraja Katte' ,  which is the first Dam ever built on the river Cauvery.Thus, the adjoining village  bears the name ' Kattepura'.
  Ramanathapura is a piligrim centre. Ther are a number of temples at Ramanathapura, namely Lord Subrahmanya swamy, Lord Shiva & Lord Rama.The Music village of Rudrapattanam is about 5 kms from here.

NUGU DAM & SARAGOORU

Nugu dam is situated near Saragooru. From Mysooru, it is about 60 kms. The uniqueness of the reservoir is that,  it is surrounded by small hills which make the scene picturesque.
  Saragooru is surrounded by river Kabini at three sides.

ARKANATHESHWARA Temple, K. R. Nagara.

Arkanatheshwara Temple is situated on the southern banks of the river Cauvery, near K. R. Nagara.
