MADIKERI TO SAMPAJE ROAD & DEVARAKOLLI.

Recently, I learnt about the waterfalls of Devarakolli near Jodupala on Mysooru- Mangalooru road, along with thodikana Devaragundi falls. It was Goutham pai's Photo which drove me to the place. I am not good at shooting waterfalls, nor am hell bent over it. The surrounding greenery,  which I saw in that photo grabbed my interest.
So, on 12th September, I started to Devarakolli. I was  in dilemma as to whether go or not- since it was raining. Up to Madikeri, everything went well, with  heavy clouds indicating the possible rainfall!
After Madikeri, as I was descending the Ghats, it started to rain.  I stopped at a Bus -shelter and waited  for the rain to stop. The road has been reconstructed now  and it is a pleasure to ride. This impressed me  and I took several photos  including the road, making it a part of my picture.

Road seen from Made bus stop.

Devarakolli is a place, at about 15 kms from Madikeri- towards Mangalooru, where one can spot a beautiful waterfalls at the roadside only. I am not  used to shooting flowing waters and I could only shoot a picture or two.
I was searching for the place, a rubber plantation and a small stream running  in the middle. I had seen it in  Gautham's blogpost, as a beautiful photograph. Just 2 or 3 kms away I found the place. What a place it is?
