After visiting Devaraja canal several times, I got the Idea of searching for other canals and waterfronts. The result was Kodibayi Katte near KRS. While going to the spot, I observed the Canal along which my route was. It was smaller and shallower compared to Devaraja canal, but beautiful, with some flower plants at its' banks and a lot of reflections!. I changed my mind and shot these scenes first and later moved on to Kb Katte.
The place or route is just near KRS. While we move on the bridge, there is a circle where we take left to reach Brindavan Gardens. Instead, a couple of meters further on the same road takes us to this Canal. Vishweshwarayya Canal or VC is another few meters away from here and it is different. There is a mud road adjacent to the canal. I just followed the route and shot these photos.
People may feel boring about watching the same pics of waterbodies often, but, I never feel contented and, hence this trip.
All these photos have three main colours- Blue, Greens and Mud colour. But I emphasized
on different shades of Green.
Bold Blue colour dominates the picture even in the reflection. I have
experimented with both orientations Horizontal and vertical.
Amidst the Greenery, the farm house stands out with its Red and White complexion.
I tried some compositions.
A queue of coconut trees. The tender green of paddyfields contrasts with
dark green of the Coconut trees.
Some Cowherds and farmers were returning home: It made an interesting picture. Here I have tried White Balance Masking[WBM].
The white and Red coloured house framed by greens.
The red colour balances with the colour of the rock in the rightside of the frame.
The time was running out, so finally I took a couple of sunsets, to end the day.
