The preparations were going on for annual chariot festival. Cleaning and decorating works were on brisk pace. This raised me doubts about the condition of the Pond. So, I stayed back for a while, to shoot further.
The Dome on one of the entrances is in a ruined state, reminding me of the same at Hampi. This gate leads to the the Holy Pond.
My doubt was correct. The pond was ready for cleaning with Wooden structures erected into it. This made me lose interest and I took fewer shots of the Pond.
It was over here and we moved towards the Hills.
The weather on the top of the Hill was cool, even in summer. The vegetation was also much Greener in comparison with the same below.
There is a pathway at the side of the restaurant, which we did not explore. But recorded the scene.
After this, we moved to the backside of the temple.

The small arches and artworks on the wall of the Pond. Seen in the bg is the Nandidurga.

The dried tree branches and the semi-ruined structure seem to be in the same league -crying for some attention.

The pathway to the Hotel has a beautiful green arch, which happened to be my first shot.
The Pattern set by the Sky walk seen at the bottom of the photo, is followed by the line of trees and even the colours of the Sky.
The restaurant, framed.
The open space in front of the Nandi temple.
The Sky walk.
Yellowish green leaves contrast with the bright blue of the Sky.
Apart from the ease of viewpoint, this structure looked interesting to me and I responded.
The garden at the backyard of the restaurant.
The line of barricades leads our viewpoint to the hill and balances the composition.
A vertical composition may support the tall stance of this structure.
These are the views from the Skywalk:-

After this, we moved to the backside of the temple.
Before leaving the place, one shot of the Lavender flowers to soothe our souls.
Backside gate of the temple.
Yellow poised against the strong Blue.
The Gate shot from inside, framed.
The temple inner area. Barricades were erected for the oncoming fest.
to be contd.....
